>what does an xdeliver msg look like?

Jared, the 'x' of my msg was followed by the 3 types of deliver: r, l, and
g. I gave you an example of an xdeliver line, just relace the x by r, l,
or g. This kind of search will show what was actually delivered to a
mailbox, no matter how many times it was input to Imail. Spend some time
staring the log file, all will be reveaked.

Scott's approach is complementary, but not as 'reliable' since the MAIL
FROM: and RCPT TO: msgs are before the msg is delivered, after which
something could go wrong, while the xdeliver lines are after Imail is
protocol-satisfied that the msg has been successfully delivered.

My point was that one single msg input to Imail might be 'xdelivered' by
Imail multiple times due the other server screwing up during the delivery
dialog.

But as Scott pointed out, if Imail received the msg 20 times from the
sender, it ain't Imail fault for delivering it 20 times to the recipient.
