On 24/07/2000 Len Conrad provided us with a possible solution to our
problem. (thank you Len)
Unfortunately as I expected the answer was not the correct solution.
It seemed to work fine for the Spam, but as I sort of expected it stops our
clients from sending out mail to anyone that does not have a domain with us.
None of our clients have a dial up connection whith us, we do not know what
their IP address is therefore.
We have the following settings set in the control panel
Tab
"SMTP Security"
-------Mail Relay Options-------
Relay mail for addresses (and then we have our IP's here)
Checked:
Refuse NULL <> Senders
Check valid sender
Auto-deny possible hack attempts
------------------------------------------
Anybodies help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Taco
