Marc,
In IMail, if you set up this domain as "mail.abc.com" with an alias domain
of "abc.com" then all user accounts will defaultly inherit the "mail.abc.com" in
their address. You (or each of them) can individually change it in the
personal options, but it will need to be done individually.
We made this same mistake with the first few dozen domains we setup on our
IMail server when we migrated to it last fall. When adding new accounts to
any of these first few domains, we take it upon ourselves to edit the user's
address to omit the "mail." portion of it. It takes a couple extra
seconds, but it saves many extra minutes of tech support.
