I have been peering two Imail servers for awhile now. One thing that truely surprized me was the fact that if one of my servers goes down or the communication line between them goes down, all mail destined for the downed server is returned to the sender after one failed attempt to connect. Why will Imail not requeue the mail and follow the same delivery rules as regular SMTP traffic, holding and delivering the mail once the downed server comes back online?????? Am I missing something here?
