Thanks for the responses. Based on them, the entries for my domain
(iontribe.com) now look like:

iontribe.com A ip address
*.iontribe.com A ip address

mail.iontribe.com CNAME iontribe.com

iontribe.com MX Hi mail.iontribe.com
mail.iontribe.com MX Hi mail.iontribe.com

Is that it?

Thanks,

Reid

hmmmmm, priority x-hi?

The Imail user doc is very good on basic DNS set up. Read that, and also
maybe this:
http://bind8nt.meiway.com/itsaDNSmess.cfm

are

In DNS:

;zone file: db.domain.com

domain.com. MX 10 mail.domain.com.
mail.domain.com. MX 10 mail.domain.com.

domain.com A ip.ad.re.ss
mail.domain.com A ip.ad.re.ss

That's all there iztuit in DNS. btw, 10 is "preference number" not
priority.

In Imail:

mailhost: domain.com
mailhost alias: mail.domain.com

Done.

If you tell us what your mail domain is, we can go have a look at your DNS
setup.

Might also shows you imail\spool\sysMMDD.txt file where mail is bouncing.
ie, sys0813.txt

Oldie hoping this helps.
