Hello,
We currently use the command line function quite extensively and recently
noticed an issue with the adduser function:
If the user's mail box isn't "initialized" for lack of a better term or in
other words until the user either creates a mailbox/folder, or sends or
receives and e-mail message, the account isn't fully functional. If the
user happens to be an administrator of the virtual domain, they cannot do
any modifications to aliases for example. The error message that comes up
for a brand new account is "Invalid folder". And if the user tries to
edit an alias, they get, essentially that someone else is using the account.
This is all resolved if the account is again, "initialized" by some manner
mentioned above.
Our command is simply in the format of:
adduser -h <virtual domain> -u <username> -p <password>
Is there something we are doing wrong? Of course, making users the long
way with the normal interface works fine, but our macros are much faster due
to the fact we need quick turnaround times for our new web hosting clients.
Hope someone can help us. Thank you very much.
Regards,
David Parmelee
