The problem is that if you were to convince IMail that mail addressed to
@yourdomain.com should go to the host in the MX record, then it WILL go there. But,
what is the virus scanner going to do? It's going to send it to IMail. IMail then
sees that there is an E-mail for @yourdomain.com. So it sends it to the MX record...
and you have yourself a mail loop.
This should only be an issue when using web messaging, though. IMail does have a hook
that virus scanner software could use that I believe would probably catch most of the
E-mail from web messaging, but I'm pretty sure nobody is using it yet.
