Hello,
I have a test server running IMail and it's behind a Pix Firewall. I
wanted to test the email by sending a message to user@ip of the email
server, but I can't get it to work. (There are no MX records for this
server yet.)
I called techsupport and talked to Chris. He suggested to disable
smtp on the firewall or use a gateway setting in IMail.
I tried setting the gateway to the internal IP of our firewall, but
it times-out when trying to send an email. I'll paste the log file
below. Our IP for the mail server is 192.204.26.2 and I was connected
to a dial up when I sent the messages. I don't understand why it
errored out on invalid user either.
