The PIX is rather unresponsive on its own IP addresses -- won't even
answer a ping. I suspect the gateway Chris mentioned was instead the ip
address of the mail server, not the router or firewall's ip. We're still
setting our own PIX up, so I wince just reading your message. Watch
carefully the conduit, static, and alias commands. The latter,
especially, can shut your server down instantly. Check the PIX config
manual for their Exchange server examples...
