I don't agree because simple becasue memdt.org is in the mail from:,
it really doesn't exist, AND it's probably being sent to the remote
server who says it doen't exist.

ok, let's take that as a hypothesis, a random occurrence.  Can you
search the log where slyon has sent valid mail with an unscrabled
"mail from:" ?

Does this happen repeatedly for slyon?  or just once?

Does it happen to other users?
