SQLMail does the delivery directlhy to remote SMTP servers?
If yes, you can offload that to Imail, by having SQLMAIL relay all
its mail to Imail, Imail then does the remote delivery. Seems like a
waste of an Imail machine tho'.
Look at a free alternative on the IMGate URL in sig. I and several
other ISP's have removed all Imail direct reception/delivery from
Imail and off-loaded it to IMGate. In my diagrams, replace the Imail
box with your SQLMAIL box. This approach depends on SQLMAIL being
able to send all it's outbound through a single gateway machine.
