I'm coming in to this in the middle but from what i
understand this only has popped up since they installed 6.04.

clearing.
Howdy,
Seems to me if it's happening to more than one system,
it's more than likely an IMail bug. There's no way I can afford the downtime
to re-install.
The server's been running fine for nearly 4 months,
it's only since the upgrade to 6.04 that we've started having problems - would
that be true for you too?
Nick
Nick,
It sounds similar to an issue we're having
right now. We haven't found anything that works either. Look for any
subjects "Re: [IMail Forum] MX connect fail
"205.188.157.3" issue"
If you find out anything please let me know.
I'm getting ready to do a re-install.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Spool dir not
clearing.
Hi
all,
This one's driving me nuts. :) We're running 6.04 on NT4
SP6a. Every so often (once every couple of days), IMail decides to stop
sending mail from its spool. I've tried everything from the KB
(specifically from http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-19990730-DM01.htm)
without any success at all. The server is not under any serious load at
all (plenty of HDD, CPU and memory free).
The only way I can get
the mails to send is to place the paired SMD files in the spool one mail
at a time, then use the IMail Administrator 'View Queue' tool to manually
send each file. This is hardly an ideal solution. :)
Anyone had
similar problems? Anyone know of a simple
solution?
thanks in advance, Nick
