I will soon have
multiple imail servers. Our main server in Nashville and a backup server
in our Cairo office. The Cairo office needs its own server for at least
two reasons: better reliability and the time difference betweeen the two
offices and our clients in Cairo. Currently they link up to the imail
server in Nashville. They experience bad connections and time-outs, as
well as messages w/attachments timing out. I have had them jack up the
time-out on their clients. I have modified I can think of on both server
side and client side to try to improve their service level.
I guess I will need
to setup the second imail server as a gateway? Or I am I wrong, the first
server would become the gateway?
How do I go about
setting this up?
