Mark,
No, one should not see any imail1.exe running unless you are using this CLU
to send email. Most likely cause is that someone tried this CLU
(programatically?), had an error (that generates a console response) that
remains unacknowledged (console responses cannot be handled by imail1.exe)
so the program remains open, awaiting that response. Yes, you can/should
KILL them. If you cannot from TMgr, then use kill.exe from Resource Kit.
Probably should find out what caused imail1.exe to run 5 times!
Should not be any need to stop IMail or other services before stopping the 5
imail1.exe.
