It sounds like you are talking about relaying, where spammers are using your
system to send out their junk. If that is the case, you can just follow the
"Relay for addresses, use SMTP AUTH" advice, and you can stop it with what
you have now.
If you are talking about incoming spam to your users, or for some reason you
can't use the relay-for-addresses-and-SMTP-AUTH strategy, you should check
out our Declude JunkMail (at http://www.declude.com ). It has ORBS, RBL,
RSS, DUL, and other similar ip4r DNS lookups, as well as checking the FROM
address to make sure the domain exists, and more. You can then choose how
to handle the E-mail, even have different settings per domain (or per user)
if you want. For example, you may only want to add a warning to the headers
for mail that gets caught with ORBS (which catches a lot of legitimate
mail), but delete messages that are caught by DUL (which is almost always
spam). If someone complains that spam control isn't a good thing, you can
set them up so that their spam gets delivered to them.
