If you think they have a legit service, I'd like to offer you some
oceanfront property in arizona!

Seriously. These folks and others like them have contacted my clients with
their scary email/fax messages. Think about it for a second, if somebody
goes to NSI, OPENSRS, BULKREGISTER, etc... and queries a name to see if it
is available, how the heck would these people know anyway? Besides if the
name is queried and available, don't you think the person querying would go
ahead and register it?

I sell domain names as an OpenSRS reseller and can assure you that the
lookups are not logged - nor are the owners of similiar names contacted to
'warn' or 'protect' them.

We do display apage telling a match was found (domain name is taken) and
even offer the alternates (.org, .com, .net) that are available.

Honesty and Integerity make for clear conscience.

Has anyone heard of them or know if they are legit?
http://www.ednm.net

Domain Dispute Warnings are sent to domain owners stating that someone is
applying to register the same domain name using available .net or .org or
which ever extension is available.

The fax has some potentially bogus aspects about it.

Thanks
