All you have to do is setup the regular DNS records like you would for any domain.
Then in the host file just add:
(insert-domain-ip-here) (insert-domain-here)
(insert-domain-ip-here) (now-insert-official-name-of-the-mail-server)
Now your probly thinking what is the host file (well if you dont know this one then
you need to buy a DNS book for NT) the host file is just that it is just a file named
HOST no extentions of any kind just Host open that file in notepad or textpad what
ever floats your boat then put those records in there. After that it is probly a good
idea to reboot the machine probly not needed but will gaurantee that all the systems
were reset and added your new info from the host file.
PS. Do not add the domain to the server only to the host file it is that simple.

Honestly, I know how you feel. I have tried to get this to work under Imail
and have never had any luck. In the end I just used Sendmail under Linux. It
was a temporary situation as well.

If you get it working could you email me some tips?

Craig
