I guess i should put my 2c in:

We have a small 30,000 user NT mail server, and with the latest patches 
and fixes.. Webmail goes down atleast 1 time per week, and if you use 
the nice monitor to monitor it, it will take 100% of the CPU because it 
if it doesn't receive a message back in time it will think the service 
has died and tried to restart it. Of course IMHO, unix is much more of a 
better platform to run a mail server on.
