Hi everyone .. I am a newbie to this list so please excuse if this is an
old topic.
I am about to purchase and setup an IMail server which I have been
testing for a while.
The server will be accessed mainly by Web for all our students and by
POP for staff.
I have asked this question of support but would like to know what others
are doing or think in regard to this.
If I purchase xxx licences for IMail server and use the internal
database do I also need to purchase MS NT4.0 client access licences
My theory is I don't see why I should as the users are not going to be
logging into the server but knowing the way Microsoft work (but without
asking them directly) I suspect MS would not agree with me.
Any Ideas ? What have others done about this?
