We are exactly in your situation. NT (workstation) running Imail using
the internal database, students use web messaging and staff/faculty use
POP3. 5,200+ active accounts (350 POP3). Functions great.
Bill Gates may want to come after me, but we have only the single
license for the workstation running Imail. Nobody is logging into the
NT.
