I believe the cdonts needs the MSSMTP Service or EXCHANGE to run. I don't
know if there are any restrictions as to MSSMTP port number. Go to
www.serverobjects.com and get AspMail. It is a solid product. It costs about
50 bucks.

Ever since i installed Imail on my win2k server CDONTS seems not to work.
We have msSMTP on port 26 and imail on port 25 of couse.
We un installed msSMTP server and tryed it with out, Nothing then ether. We
reinstalled msSMTP turned Imail off and still nothing. I am not sure what
else to try so any thing would be great at this point thanks.
