McAfee has several different versions of VirusScan. There's one for 95/98 only,
another with 95/98 and NT Workstation, and another "Multiple Platform" version that
works on all flavors of 95/98/NT.
The $10-$30 or so version (as seen in the stores, packaged to cater to individuals
protecting their home computers) usually is the 95/98 or 95/98/NTWorkstation version.
If you are running NT Workstation, you should have no problem with any version that
says "NT" on it. If you are running NT Server, you need to read carefully, or go to
the McAfee web site and get the $60 one.
With any AV scanner, you do need to check the licensing and make sure it suits your
needs (some limit you to the number of copies running at once). The next release of
Declude will (optionally) let you limit the number of simultaneous AV processes to
help make sure licensing needs are met.
