I compared file dates of the 6.05 web files with those in the template
gallery and they are the same. Why would overwriting the 6.05 web files with
these files have any effect? I want the latest template files. They seem to
be included in 6.05. Am I right?

: If you are having trouble in 6.05 Web Messaging (such as invalid
templates, or deleting messages, or deleting users, broken images,
trouble with attachments, etc.) new templates should fix it.

You can get the 6.05 templates from the IMail template gallery:

http://www.ipswitch.com/Products/IMail_Server/template.html

Extract the new templates to the imail\web\ directory.
