Old issue, hoping newcomer to list can help:

I now have 7 IE5.5 users whose Web Messaging activity generates these iMail
error logs:
ADMN CHNG "admin" Attempt to add user to domain "" from "" failed because
username is empty
or
ADMN CHNG "admin" Attempt to change password for user "" of domain "" failed
because userid is invalid

Users report that when they click "Save" or "Change", iMail returns an error
message similar to what's inserted into the log files.

3 users have changed to Navigator to avoid the problem. Searching through
my iMail logs revealed that this has been happening for a few months, but
users hadn't started complaining until recently. I have the latest iMail
server default templates. My gut suggests this is an IE5.5 javascript
problem, but I was hoping someone could offer a suggestion.
