Jonas,
1. The product of SMTP settings, 'Tries before Returning' times 'Queue
Timer', is max time IMail will hold email in Queue. Default values yield 10
hours.
2. No. But it might be possible that any limit on the Primary domain (IP),
might be applied to incoming email. I've not tested this.
3. Stored email would be in the Queue (\imail\spool) as Q and D files. But
that would typically happen only when their email server is offline.
Normally, there would not be any of their email in your queue when their
server is running.
4. No need to 'kickstart' as normal Queue processing will handle any email
in the queue. You could use the Queue buttons, Send One (first find the
email and select) or Send All (starts normal Queue processing, may reduce
hold time).
