><[EMAIL PROTECTED]>... Domain of sender address
>[EMAIL PROTECTED] does not resolve

yep, no A record:

# dig kreissparkasse-recklinghausen.de a

; <<>> DiG 8.2 <<>> kreissparkasse-recklinghausen.de a
;; res options: init recurs defnam dnsrch
;; got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: SERVFAIL, id: 4
;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 0
;; QUERY SECTION:
;; kreissparkasse-recklinghausen.de, type = A, class = IN

so add an A record. fixed

My question is:
>It is possible, that Imail transmits the Mails with the IP address of the
>Mailservers and not with the IP-adress of the delault-mailserver ?

read what the verbose error msg says:

"Domain of sender address [EMAIL PROTECTED] does
not resolve"

The "sender address" is the envelope header

"MAIL FROM: sender@senderdomain"

IMGate wouldn't accept mail from you either.
