That should work (in theory at least). If you have IIS set up to send out E-mail
(using CDONTS?), then there may be an issue if you use a different port (maybe someone
else here can elaborate if this is an issue or not).

FYI, this (SMTP AUTH in Win2K) will not work if you are using the IMail or external
database. If you are using the "NT Database", it should work.

No, this would not be a problem. MS will be outputing to port 25, which IMail is
listening on. IMail then outputs to port 25 on other computers, which won't pose a
problem.
