I really hope IPSwitch does a major overhaul on the list server, it has so
many bugs. I really don't understand what can be so difficult with a
program maintaining a list of email addresses, and not allowing people to
be on the list more than once. I have had so many problems with trying the
help a user maintain a list. If you add a user from the web interface,
editing the users file, or by email, they can still be added to the list
one of the other ways. Also, when it comes to deleting a user from the web
interface, it fails most of the time when you type in a name and hit
remove. (probably has something to do with how they were added to the list.)
What is the deal with surrounding the email address with <> ? Is it
supposed to ? When they are added via the subscribe command in email, they
have <> around the email, when they add via the web they don't. Silly. Why
is it so difficult to be consistant?
I have seen many messages fly through this list in relation to bugs with
the list server, and now after setting just one user up with access to use
it, I know why. It is buggy.
