Jeff,
in my experience, most of the email clients will blow up if someone drags a
particular file into the outlook body. If they use the file-attach feature
of the site there isn't usually this problem. Your workaround could be to
educate your users as to the subtle differences in attaching a file
Hope this helps

Subject: [IMail Forum] Attachement issues
Ok I know this has been delt with time and time again on this msg board, but
I have to bring it up.
My WebMessaging clients still get a 40% failure rate on all attachements
sent from a Outlook client (that is OE4 or 5, and full blown outlook 9x). I
either get an error saying that the attachement doesn't exist or it comes
out as garbage. Does anyone know the fix for this? I have been dealing with
this problem for quite some time and the only answer I ever get is it is a
problem with the way outlook encapsulates attachments, the answer has been
keeping my bosses off my back for a while but not for much longer. Outlook
is used by a large percentage of ppl out there IPSwitch should be looking
for a workaround on this one.
