See RTFM/KB, set 1 up to be relay for 2 and 3 (NT hosts files, and
"relay for addresses"). Once you do that, 1 will always accept
outbound (desired) and inbound (undesired) mail for 2 and 3. but if
you don't point 2 and 3 MX's at 1, then no inbound 2,3 mail will go to 1.

In 2 and 3, in the SMTP:send all mail through a gateway, enter 1's ip address.
>I want Server 2 and 3 to only allow incoming mail for the accounts

In DNS, point the primary MX for the domains on 2 and 3 at 2's and
3's hostnames.
>and only allow those accounts to send mail.
???

all 3 Imails should be "relay for addresses", so enter the ip's of
each machines into the list of "relay for addresses"

You've done "relay for addresses" above, so just in SMTP
security:UNcheck "Disable SMTP AUTH reporting" so mail clients know
AUTH is supported.
>Does this make sense?
Don't ask, don't tell :)))
Having 3 Imail servers could possibly indicate a high volume of mail
(or maybe you just own Ipswitch stock :))) ), wouldn't a little
P200/IMGate out front of all of them keep 1 from doing the dirty work
for 2 and 3? ie, IMGate would send/receive all their mail, plus
anti-abuse and anti-virus?
