Dan,

Thanks for the tip about the forwarding bit being done by
aliases.  For some reason it didn't sink in that was what
the aliases are for.

I have a lot of email addresses that are just forwards to
their normal email address.

That will save a lot of user accounts etc.

If you are doing forwarding only for these accounts, you can use 
Aliases,
instead of accounts, to do the same thing. No need for a folder or 
the disk
space an account could use.

Using IMail Administrator, the folder is created when the account 
is
created. And the forward.ima file is there when forwarding info is 
added.

Sounds to me, like you are using the Web Admin interface.... which 
does work
as Dan S indicates.
