Hello, I am running version 6.02.362. I am having problems delivering mail to a certain domain. No apparent error messages are occuring.. The snippet below shows what is happening. One odd thing is that it says EHLO to arriba, which is my computer name. Another user sent a message..and it said EHLO TadA which happens to be his computer name. I would expect it to say: EHLO gotowebhosting.com or EHLO arbcnhost.net as it often does. arbcnhost.net is the imail host name. The mx records for gotowebhosting.com and arbcnhost.net are pointing to a domain name..not an ip. (The mx records are pointing to gotwebhosting.com and arbcnhost.net..that is the scheme we use.) There is an "A" record for both domains. I've turned on debug messages in the logging options..but the below is all that appears. None of the domains involved are on a blacklist. On a different imail server running version 5, mail can be successfully sent to this domain. When i telnet to the receiving domains port 25 mail server.. I get an odd response..which you can also see in the second log below. The second log is sending a successful message to the same domain through a mail server running version 5.0. There are no dns reverse pointer records for either the old server or the new server (to the best of my knowledge.) I've searched through the knowledgebase, and imail message archives..but have not found anything useful. Has anyone run across this? Any ideas on how i may troubleshoot this? I did not see this addressed in the upgrades that have come out..so am hesistant to upgrade..because it may cloud the issue and when all else seems to be working fine. Any ideas would be most welcome.
