Mark is just bitter he got listed with ORBS a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...  Live and learn, and let bygones be bygones.  You should look into using Listar as your list server.  http://www.Listar.org  As Len said, (not an exact quote) Listar + RedHat Linux 7.1 (which has a built in firewall) + Postfix (as the MTA) processes 40 K deliveries/hour.  This sounds like you are at the point where you need a heavy duty solution such as this.  Better to upgrade now than to wait until your e-mail starts out with "HELP!"

No, dump ORBS/MailAbuse if you use them and don't support companies like
them.  IMail is in accord with every RFC.

Well my third request for the day.  With all the talk about ORBS and
MAPS I have a question.  It was said on this list that if you don't have
opt-in and opt-out on your web site you will get blacklisted.  I have
both and everyonce in awhile I still get the complaint I never
subscribed take me off of your list rant and rave complaint email.
Since Imail doesn't support the confirmation stage am I open to be
blacklisted?  I have found ways to have IMail manage the subscription
but have the mails sent out using my own app so they never appear to be
bulk emails.  Am I asking for trouble with this?  Should I dump IMails
list server.  My volume is 100,000 plus daily and is growing
