Ryan,
Start at the beginning! Can you ping the hostname from the Macs? How about
ping using the IP? If IP works, but hostname does not, it is a DNS issue. If
you can ping both ways, try Telnet program and port 25 to see if that
connects. If both ping and telnet work, there is no obvious reason that the
Macs cannot and PCs can (unless there is a firewall or proxy in the path or
the Macs use a different network and route to the host).
Maybe the Macs are using a different nameserver than the PCs??
