Version: IMail Server 6.06 (all latest patches installed, as of today,
6/25/01)
OS: Windows 2000
I have mail relaying set to Relay mail for Addresses, and I have the local
addresses of the Imail servers listed in there. I have "Disable SMTP VRFY
command" enabled (checked), and "Disable SMTP AUTH Reporting" disabled (not
checked).
When a user attempts to send mail from a host not listed in the addresses
I've specified as "ok", the user gets an error: "550 not local domain.com,
not a gateway" where domain.com is the domain of the recipient.
The logxxxx.txt of the transaction is as follows:

I hope this is enough info so that you can tell me why my mail server
doesn't seem to be doing SMTP AUTH correctly.
Thank you.
