Ron,
Will the hksi classic v7-compatible will install on version 6.06 of
imail so that the upgrade goes smoothly. What are the steps recommended
for smooth upgrade given the imail 6.06 and HKSI classic templates
environment.

No, you'll need to get the v7-compatible version of the HKSI classic
templates prior to installing v7, unless you want to run with the new
stock v7 templates temporarily. Our stuff will be ready asap, hopefully
by
Wednesday along with v7. Your v6 templates are NOT forwards compatible
with Imail v7 (without hours of mods).
