The boneheads running their DNS have ignored the RFC's and pointed an MX
record at an IP address instead of an A record:

Subject: [IMail Forum] Strange SMTP problem
Im having a strange problem with 2 IMail servers.
While using either of these servers, I cant send a message to a
particular
domain (cameronargentina.com.ar). The MX definition in the zone of that
domain seems to be ok. Both my DNSs recognize the same MX defined in the
DNSs to which this domain is delegated.
The strangest thing is that Im able to send mails to this domain by
using
another SMTP (Linux Sendmail) which also uses my DNSs.
The log file reads:
07:04 11:37 SMTPD(045E00E4) [200.32.16.30] MAIL
FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
07:04 11:37 SMTPD(045E00E4) [200.32.16.30] RCPT
TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
07:04 11:37 SMTPD(045E00E4) [200.32.16.30] D:\IMAIL\spool\D2a2c0e4.SMD
775
07:04 11:37 SMTP-(00000127) processing D:\IMAIL\spool\Q2a2c0e4.SMD
07:04 11:37 SMTP-(00000127) Creating message from Postmaster
07:04 11:37 SMTP-(00000127) finished D:\IMAIL\spool\Q2a2c0e4.SMD
status=2
And the bounced mail reads:
Unknown host: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Any ideas?
