For a similar situation, I wrote a short program which reads numerical data
from a plain-text file, increments the value, shells out to DOS to execute
another program (DOMLIST.EXE in your case) and writes the updated numerical
value back to the file. This program is scheduled with the "AT" utility to
run once every day. It's ugly, unsophisticated (I wrote it in QuickBasic
4.5!) but it works for me.
