I'm looking for a bit of clarification on a MX record issue.
--Scenario
- I send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (out to net)
- Message is returned 'Unknown host [EMAIL PROTECTED]'
OK "well some other people for other places can send messages (local to
domain1.com????)"
- A record query on domain1.com (no record)(queried different dns too)
- MX query, returns a ip address (ok that's better)
Here's the Question,
Should Imail be able to sent to a server in the above scenario?
if someone would like to check the domain is datacable.ca
A Side Note,
When I set up a domains dns. I point an A record to the mail ip under the
domain2.com
and a mx to the domain2.com as well (works great)
