go into the spool directory and look for largish files (probably have
attachments) and open one with notepad.exe. you will see the msg body and
the attachement is all one encoded text file.

wherever they need to be read. The scanner needs to un-encode
the attachment to produce the original attachements for scanning.

it�s generally considered important to catch a virus on one mail server
than it is to catch it after it�s gone to 1000 desktops.
