The ISP providing your T-1 needs to have an IP assigned for your mail server.  You can then have your T-1 provider point the MX, and other A records you need, to the IP you will be using as your mail server.  Be sure you already have your duplicate accounts setup.  Also make sure you follow the steps to insure your server isn't an open relay, and you have something to protect your server from Spam or this new toy will be come a horrible nightmare.   A member supported Anti-Spam Database for Postfix, Sendmail, and IMail. We have an intranet mail server for our inter office mail. and we have a domain Also from our local ISP. That we have about 50 e-mail accounts with the local ISP and I want to put both together so the users can get there intranet mail from home or anywhere else. I was wonder how I can set this up I’m using Imail server 7.02 with windows 2000 server. I also would let to set up our mail domain with imail so I can get rid of the isp so we do all own mail so we don’t have to use the ISP anymore and we can do it all from the company.
