Yes, that does work.  That is exactly how I've handled our company name
change from blclinks.net to intouchmi.com.  I have the hostname as
mail.intouchmi.com, and have aliases of intouchmi.com, mail.blclinks.net,
blclinks.net.

I do end up doing this often, as this is also how I handle customers who get
all of the tld's for their domain, such as company.com, company.net, and
company.org.  They generally do not want three new mail domains/hosts, just
need one, but they want to make sure that they get their messages no matter
what domain they use.
