I tried to make the error with the . happen.
I tried from yahoo mail, from our old isp sold mail and just sending local mail thru
our server. i added the . to each email and it never happend from any of them. I run
4.5I of webshield.
I do have other issues at time with it tho. LIke it crashed on me and
I had to uninstall and reinstall it. It does that for some odd reason at times. True
the only time is when I have been adding things to it and save it to file and reload
the file.
I also run it on a different machine then Imail. I like it that way.
If I do crash it I can still get mail. And if Imail is down or the mailserver (like
lastnite when my Mailserver locked up at midnite) the mail was still on the webshield
machine. Then when I brought the mailserver back up it sent those mails thru.
It does kinda suck that webshild can not use the imail kill files and
filtering rules etc. webshield does have antispam for both senders and content
filtering. They do work as I filter out when my personal accts get hit. However when
websheild crashed and I had to reinstall I lost
all those filters. THat sucked.
and I seem to have problems with it doing its auto update.
But it does work good when its running.
