I've run these Linksys firewalls for over a year and had already done
all the proper port forwarding required, however there's still a major
problem.

I have three other systems internal to the firewall... everything was
fine until I attempted to put up a mail server (mail.aplusdata.com)
behind my router. I'm running a dns server behind the router as well
(ns1.aplusdata.com), which resolves just fine, internally, and
externally. My problem is that mail bound for my aplusdata.com domain,
will not deliver itself to my mail server, and I can not figure out
why. If I attempt to mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] from
any of my internal machines, the mail gets delivered. If I log onto
this yahoo account, and attempt to email [EMAIL PROTECTED] it never
arrives.

Now I have port forwarding set so that ports 1-24, 26-109, 11-1024 go
to 192.168.1.10 and ports 25, 100, and 8181-8383 go to 192.168.1.9. My
internal network is 192.168.1.x, with my router's internal port being
192.168.1.1, and it's external port being 65.14.196.156.

My question to you is this, why would mail be delivered internally,
from internal machines, and yet not from external machines... and how
could I set rules that allow me to mail OUT through my router on ports
25 to other mail servers.... right now, if I try to mail OUT to other
mail servers from outlook express it hangs, then dies because the
router attempts to forward those requests to my internal mail server
(mail.aplusdata.com).

I really need help QUICKLY please.

Thanks!
