Make sure that in Ootlook that they have the My server requires
authentication
box checked off in the Outgoing mail section. Although checking off
outgoing
same as incoming I have found that even though the logon information for
outgoing mail is the same as the incoming it works better if one explicitly
types
in name and pw for the outgoing mail server.

Hi

I have 3 users that connect to Imail using IMAP and Outlook express.

They can receive mail but can not send mail. I have SMTP AUTH turned on.

Outlook asks for their username and password and then asks for it again as
Imail rejects it even though Imail has just used the username and password
to authorise the user to collect his mail.

Deleting the user and adding again makes no difference. Adding a new user to
the domain works fine. All other users on all other domains have no
problems.

Any help would be welcomed as I am scratching my head with this.

Myles
