Hi Thanks for advice. I have tried this already and it makes no difference. Outlook pops up a box asking for username and password. If I type in my username and password it will let them send the mail. If I then type in their username and password the server rejects them and they can not send mail.
They can still receive their mail with their username and password. Have tried several computers and Outlook and Outlook Express (5 and 6) same result everytime. Any ideas? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Bonno Bloksma Sent: 19 December 2001 13:50 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Hi, > I have 3 users that connect to Imail using IMAP and Outlook express. > > They can receive mail but can not send mail. I have SMTP AUTH turned on. Sounds like they don't have it turned on at the client. As it is not a standard question for the wizzard it's easy to overlook. It has so far always been the case overhere. > Any help would be welcomed as I am scratching my head with this. Have them look at the server tab in the e-mail account properties screen. See if they have the option switched on. Met vriendelijke groet, Bonno Bloksma Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
