Hello All!
I figured I'd ask this question here, hopefully to
get a real world answer. Here's the scenario:
We're running Imail 6.06 outside our firewall and
have an Exchange 2000 server inside the firewall. We want to use the Exchange
server but we have employees located at client's site that are restricted from
connecting to the Exchange server due to client firewall configs. They can
however access the Imail web interface without issue but IMail doesn't have all
of the collaborative features that Exchange does. Is it possible to setup the
IMail server as a "store and forward" mail server to the Exchange server? The
point is so that if a user is at the client site they can check their mail using
the IMail web interface but when they're in the office they can use Outlook
connected to the Exchange server, which will pull the email from the IMail
server. Does this make sense? How would I set something like this
up?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
