Hi Corey try it with telnet first when you log into port 110
type user bla you'll get the answer +ok welcome then write pass bla the user name does not need to be in quotes, don't do any kind of deletes either as i think telnet picks them up as characters. the type list to get the messages and retr 1 to retrieve the first retr 2 to retrieve the second etc These commands can be easily mimicked from a java servlet Some things you'll have to look out for are variable mailheaders, overflow from attachments .....
