Thank you for the tip about templates. It fixed my problem with jumping
after an open message was deleted.
However my customer found another quirk:
"What seems to still not work is if you are in a summary screen (which lists
all the email subjects, who its from, size etc.), you have more than a page
full of emails (ie say you have 80 emails in your Main mailbox, set it to
view 50 emails per screen, you will have 2 pages), you are on the first page
and you click the little garbage icon to delete an email. Rather than
refreshing the screen with that email deleted it it jumps to displaying the
second page"
I have tested this and was able to reproduce the problem. It does not always
behave like this but once in a while it jumps to the the second page.
Usually in order to induce this behavior, I need to go to Page 2, delete
some messages there, come back to Page 1, delete a couple of messages there,
and then BAM! - after I delete one more message, I am on Page 2.

Make sure you upgraded templates... always get the newest set from
Ipswitch (or your friendly 3rd-party vendor ;) ). The 7.04 set was very
important. The IMail upgraders, patches and hotfixes usually do NOT
upgrade the web templates.
