ah, if it were only so easy, but it's impossible.  All the modules have to 
be on the mailbox server.

There is software to set up satellite machines for SMTP (IMGate), 
anti-virus (IMGateAV, etc) and web messaging (NOCC, etc) but these programs 
are not Imail modules.
